The Hiring Process

1. Explore and Apply: Search available opportunities and apply for the best fit job

Search for all open faculty, staff, and student positions. We encourage employee referrals as an additional way to recruit top talent. Review each job posting carefully, as candidates have greater success when their experience strongly matches the requirements.

2. Internal Assessment and Review: Make a great first impression

Resumes are reviewed by a staff member for qualifications that match to the skills and requirements detailed in the job posting. It may take several weeks or more to complete a thorough review of all resumes received.

3. Interview: Let’s get to know you

Highly-qualified candidates will be invited to interview in person or by phone or video.

Candidates typically meet with multiple interviewers during the interview process, often in small groups or with panels. Review organizational charts to help prepare for your interview.

4. References: Seeking Feedback

A reference check is performed and normally completed prior to a notification of employment.

5. Offer Letters and Background Checks: It’s almost official!

Offers are made verbally, followed up in writing, and are contingent on a successful background check and screening.

Confirmation of eligibility to start will be communicated after successfully completing all required checks and screenings.

6. Onboarding: Now, it’s official.
